2015 Midwest Certified Not-For-Profit Academy
MORRIS, IL—Lisa M. Blacker, NFPC has completed requirements to become a Certified Not-For-Profit Executive at the 2015 Midwest Certified Not-For-Profit Academy in Morris, Illinois.
Class requirements included not-for-profit Accounting & Finance, Special Events, Human Resource Management, Leadership Development, Board Development, Grant Writing Essentials and Legal Policies & Procedures.
The Academy was hosted at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Morris by local business Ottsie, LLC.
“Lisa’s testing was outstanding”, stated Sally Rutledge-Ott, owner and teacher at the NFP Academy. “She displayed a highly successful level of understanding and knowledge of the seven areas of not-for-profit management. Lisa will be an outstanding resource to the not-for-profit organizations in Illinois.”
